Help! My boyfriend's parents HATE me, it's making me depressed.?

My boyfriend and I have been together nearly 18 months. We're both eighteen and we are moving in together at the end of the month. But I have never met his parents. This is partly because about a month after we got together he was arrested for sexually assaulting me (long story short he got very drunk&got forceful with me at a party&the local police got involved. I didn't press charges as it was a misunderstanding) but his parents obviously think I am crazy&I understand, but it wasn't my fault&I can't change what happened&if their son is happy with me, why can't they understand that? It upsets me that they made effort with all his other girlfriend's and it hurts that they don't want to get to know me, even though he explained the situation. It was over a year ago&I just want them to give me a chance. I've told my boyfriend how I feel&they finally wanted to meet me but before I got the chance my boyfriend told them he's moving in with me&now I feel like I'm back to square one, they think I pressured him when it was all his idea to live together because he feels he doesn't have freedom at home. I really do feel hurt that they're not interested in me&don't like me. What should I do? Does it even matter if they don't like me? Should I reach out to them? Please help.
