What could be wrong with me?

6 days ago I spent the night at a friends house while getting over a cold/cough and i had a fever the previous night his parents smoke and some gets in his house and he has many pets which don't help how clean the air is. The next day we were outside with his relatives and some of them were smoking i assume normal cigarettes but it could have been something illegal like pot because his relatives well if you saw them...... Anyway ever since like 30 minutes after they first started smoking I started having a HORRIBLE cough like it burns when I cough and hurts and its very forceful. And now every time that I am around a camp fire or other people smoking outside of stores I feel like I can hardly breath that air and I start coughing more than normal(more than like 2 huge bursts of cough's every 5 - 10 minutes. I also if this helps I'm a 13 year old boy. Also the part that hurts the most is on my upper chest a tiny bit to the left almost in the center.
